摘要: Abstract Uncultivated saline lands are reserve resources for arable land without environmental degradation. A field experiment was conducted in a continuously cultivated farm station Xinjiang province, northwest China, including saline-desert land. The objective to investigate the effects of different cotton cultivation periods from 1 16 years on soil chemical and biological properties. Cultivation led decrease electrical conductivity reduced pH 8.9 uncultivated 7.9. Soil organic C showed small variable increase after cultivation. After year cultivation, contents muramic acid, galactosamine glucosamine were all roughly 30% lower, similarly those PLFA comparison with soil. Further continuous non-linear 40% until soil, which mainly occurred within five ratio fungal bacterial C, based varied around 0.7 1.4 second Microbial biomass 100% 300 μg g −1 4 initial values. microbial SOC ranged 2 6% clear effects. ergosterol increased values 0.04% during first 3 0.2% on. Also, Gram-negative Gram-positive increasing time, whereas total relatively range 8.9 μg nmol .
