摘要: Background: Tanshinone IIA (TSIIA) exhibits a variety of cardiovascular effects; however, it has low solubility in water. The preparation poorly soluble drugs for oral delivery is one the greatest challenges field formulation research. Among approaches available, solid dispersion (SD) technique proven to be most commonly used these methods improving dissolution and bioavailability drugs, because its relative simplicity economy terms both evaluation. Objective: This study was aimed at investigating behavior physical stability SDs TSIIA by employing nano-hydroxyapatite (n-HAp). Materials Methods: prepared use spray-drying method. First, an vitro test performed assess characteristics. Next, set complementary techniques (differential scanning calorimetry, electron microscopy, X-ray powder diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy) monitor physicochemical properties SDs. stored 40°C/75% humidity 6 months, after which their assessed. Results: remarkably improved with n-HAp particles. Comparisons corresponding mixtures revealed changes explained formation amorphous phase. In test, virtually no time-dependent decrease observed either drug or content. Conclusion: SD may promising approach enhancing TSIIA.
