摘要: The operation of our Nation's ports depends on carefully balancing competing needs: maintaining the security these bustling economic and transportation hubs, ensuring continued flow goods, that multitude agencies components (police, harbor patrol, owners, businesses, etc.) involved in port operations can perform their daily activities. Department Homeland Security (DHS) Science Technology Center Excellence for Risk Economic Analysis Terrorism Events (CREATE) is developing Port Resource Allocation System (PortSec), a decision-support system used to assess tactical strategic risks reduce risk from terrorist attacks. PortSec 3.0 builds previous efforts by introducing more complete modeling framework. Work underway collaboration with Ports Los Angeles Long Beach.
