摘要: The gut microbiome plays an important role in the health and disease status of host. Research on effect sex animal intestinal microorganisms is still limited; castration male pigs has not been fully investigated. In this study, 30 Hainan special wild boars at same growth stage were divided into three groups (10 entire males, 10 females, castrated males). High-throughput 16S rRNA sequencing was used to investigate fecal microbiota boar. Firmicutes, Bacteroidetes, Actinobacteria, Spirochaetes, Proteobacteria five dominant phyla found specimens. relative abundance Bacteroidetes higher female than pigs, while Firmicutes contrary. percentage Streptococcus Lactobacillus males females. microbial diversity females significantly compared males; increased males. Functional prediction showed that rich membrane transport carbohydrate metabolism; energy metabolism, glycan biosynthesis, metabolism cofactors vitamins group; had abundance.
