摘要: This study includes a seasonal analysis of sediment contamination the River Gandak by heavy metals. It passes through many small, medium and big cities Uttar Pradesh Bihar in Indian Territory. To explore geochemical condition streambed river, seven metals, namely Co, Cu, Cr, Ni, Cd, Zn Pb were analyzed. The newly deposited river bed tests gathered on basis from five stations for years 2013-14 2014-15. Level metals sediments was measured range between 10.54-16.78mg/kg 6.78-23.97mg/kg 16.56-23.17mg/kg forCr, 9.71-18.11mg/kg 0.364-1.068mg/kg forCd), 30.54-51.09mg/kg Zn, 12.21-17.01mg/kg Pb. Anthropogenic addition into stream controlled utilizing metal Contamination Factor. Geo-accumulation values found (0-1) which indicates that uncontaminated to moderately contaminated, can adversely influence freshwater ecosystem river. A Good correlation noted Pb, Cu. Cluster demonstrated three cluster groups sites, indicate originate same source mainly due natural weathering rocks, atmospheric deposition, human settlement agriculture activity is additionally confirmed analysis. However, indicators, it slightly contaminated with toxic conditions may harmful future because fast population growth basin might bring about irreparable biological harm long haul. This freshwate...
