摘要: This article describes the gross anatomy of vessels which supply mammalian tongue. It shows that there is a rich vascular supply. Available data indicate lingual papillae are supplied with true capillary circulation, more abundant in containing taste buds. The tongue innervated by adrenergic sympathetic vasconstrictor fibers and it also very likely cholinergic parasympathetic vasodilator influence exists.
