摘要: A high availability backplane architecture. The system includes redundant node boards operatively communicating with switch fabric boards. Uplink ports of the are logically grouped into trunk at one end communication link and routinely perform integrity checks when operating in a normal mode such that each can independently initiate failover to working failure is detected. Link detected either by sending heartbeat message after has had no traffic for predetermined interval, or receiving consecutive number invalid packets. Once resolved, operation resumes mode.
