摘要: A bis-pyridyl substituted α,β-unsaturated ketone, namely 1-methyl-3,5-bis-pyridin-4-ylmethylene-piperidin-4-one, L, was shown to form metal organic gels (MOGs) with silver salts. The presence of anions such as tetrafluoroborate, perchlorate, triflate and hexafluoroantimonate resulted in the formation MOGs various solvents. exhibit well-developed nanofibrillar networks composed intertwined fibers are characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), transmission (TEM), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, rheology powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) techniques. gelation studied many twenty Among all solvents used, benzonitrile found promote L four salts, BF4 (MOG-1), ClO4 (MOG-2), CF3SO3 (MOG-3) SbF6 (MOG-4). All these xerogels were be polycrystalline nature confirmed PXRD. FESEM images xerogel MOG-2 revealed that it exhibits spherical morphology consisting fibrils. Rheological studies indicate MOG-1 is strongest gel among rigidity order follows > SbF6. Furthermore, selective dye adsorption separation. information on interactions structures involved obtained single crystal structure determination Ag(I) complexes NO3 anions.
