摘要: Quadrupole interaction frequencies due to Br79 and I127 are reported in a number of crystalline solids. bromobenzene derivatives iodobenzene correlated with Hammett's σ. The splitting between found s‐tribromophenol related di‐ tribromobenzene is explained tentatively on the basis hindered rotation. Coupling constants asymmetry parameters for discussed terms single bond, double ionic character carbon‐iodine bond. Owing large (∼45%) quadrupole coupling HIO3, |Δm| = 2 transition could be observed as well two 1 transitions.
