摘要: In this study, oxide coatings were produced on pure zirconium by micro arc oxidation method in the electrolytes containing sodium silicate and di erent amounts of yttrium acetate tetrahydrate (1 4 g/l) for same coating duration 1 h. The surface roughness, microstructure, phase content chemical composition characterized using scanning electron microscopy, pro lometry X-Ray ractometry. It was found that surfaces consist monoclinic-ZrO2, tetragonal-ZrO2 phases. thickness decreases with addition while it does not change signi cantly increase its amount. clustered equiaxed features formed coatings. As amount electrolyte solution increased, coating/substrate interface smoothened. Two main regions coating, outer dense region (I) porous inner (II), became cant YAT into electrolyte.
