摘要: Introduction: Advanced glycation end products are produced endogenously, in association with hyperglycemia and oxidative stress. They can also be generated during cooking or food processing and, once absorbed, alter protein function promote inflammation. Methods: We selected 40 healthy male subjects, 17 patients type 2 diabetes of both sexes 15 1 sexes. Each participant underwent a frequency questionnaire (FFQ) 24-hour dietary recall specially adapted for measuring CML intake, anthropometry, measurement blood pressure biochemical parameters urine. Results: Serum levels were significantly higher compared to subjects (p 0.04), showing direct relationship between intake serum T2D (r 0.53 p 0.03). sCML correlated positively length mellitus, inversely body mass index (BMI). The most important factor contributing raise these was the consumption milk powder. Conclusion: found among diabetic associated as expected, but ingestion foods containing amounts ML. powder this group is major determinant increased levels.
