摘要: The IGF system and insulin play complementary roles in the maintenance of glucose homeostasis. The IGFs are important beta cell survival factors. IGFBP-1 is a marker hepatic action. Low levels IGFBP-1 associated with resistance cardiovascular disease risk. High indicate need for increased replacement diabetes.
