摘要: The main objective of this paper is to analyze the potential goal conflict between two Sweden's environmental objectives: Sustainable Forests and Reduced Climate Impact – or, more precisely, forest conservation supply wood fuel. To accomplish this, we use a sector model that includes suppliers major users roundwood. econometric results, based on data set spans 40 years, show all own price elasticities have expected signs. Among three forestry products, (long-term) demand fuel seems be most sensitive change. In second step, estimated used simulate effect increased Forest If oil as substitute, Swedish emissions greenhouse gases will increase by almost 0.92 percent, which indicates clear with objective.
