摘要: Purpose The purpose of this paper is to consider the problem fully developed laminar mixed convection flow a couple stress fluid in vertical channel with third-kind boundary conditions presence or absence heat source/sink effect. Design/methodology/approach Through proper choice dimensionless variables, governing equations are developed. These solved analytically by differential transform method and numerically Runge–Kutta shooting method. Analytical solutions for velocity temperature profiles generation absorption reported. Findings The mass rate Nusselt numbers at both left right walls on parameter, Brinkman number, parameter generation/absorption equal unequal Biot presented. Favorable comparisons special cases previously published work obtained. It found that velocity, temperature, number decrease increase number. Originality/value The done not earlier authors’ knowledge. This first which sixth-order equation using semi-numerical method,
