摘要: Hydroxydanaidal, the pyrrolizidine alkaloid-derived male corematal pheromone active in close-range precopulatory interactions of moth Utetheisa ornatrix, appears not to contribute chemical defense this moth. The compound failed manifest feeding deterrency as an additive mealworms, assays with a lycosid spider (Lycosa ceratiola). Moreover, contact male’s coremata, such occur inevitably consequence courtship Utetheisa, does itself reduce palatability female
