摘要: Abstract Chemically stable core–shell structured magnetic particles were synthesized by coating soft-magnetic carbonyl iron (CI) microspheres with silica through a sol–gel reaction, and applied as magnetorheological (MR) materials for specially designed small-sized MR brake. The dynamic yield stress of the suspension containing was also measured using rotational rheometer under an field. performance characteristics brake, including field dependent torque, hysteresis, time torque tracking control responses examined. results showed that exception settling time, other response times faster than those pristine CI based fluid.
