Temperature controlled condensation of nitriles: efficient and convenient synthesis of β-enaminonitriles, 4-aminopyrimidines and 4-amidinopyrimidines in one system

摘要: A series of β-enaminonitriles, 4-aminopyrimidines and 4-amidinopyrimidines were synthesized by condensation organonitriles in one system. wide variety compounds obtained good to excellent yields simply controlling the reaction temperature. The base-induced transformation process is easy for production. scope versatility method have been successfully demonstrated with 72 examples. flexible diversified characteristics nitriles introduced based on electronic effect, steric position substituted groups intermolecular hydrogen bonding. An updated mechanism proposed study stoichiometric conditions at variable temperature, investigation products cis–trans configuration transformation.
