摘要: The ferret, a carnivore weighing about 1 kg, was evaluated for its potential use in testing drugs emetic and antiemetic activity. An acute response to apomorphine indicated that the ferret can respond stimuli suggested has an chemoreceptor trigger zone. Cisplatin produced dose-related response. Antagonism with metoclopramide provided complete protection from cisplatin-induced emesis. results of these initial studies indicate may be useful species emesis research.
