摘要: Quasi-two-level PWM operation of modular multilevel converters enables very low module capacitance even at machine speeds and high torques while the current distortion is tolerable. In this article, application nonlinear inductors together with mode investigated to further decrease capacitances. The requirements for are analytically derived design using a stepped air gap demonstrated. feasibility advantages quasi-two-level validated simulations laboratory prototype.
