摘要: Intensive anthropogenic activities may add to pollution risks lakes and rivers, which can be revealed by the magnetic characteristics of sediments. The present study aims assess status sediment a typical reservoir in northwestern China application susceptibility. values susceptibility exhibited significant positive correlations with trace metals (Co, Cu, Mn, Ni, V) natural radionuclides (232Th 40K). Multivariate statistical analysis indicated common sources similar deposition particles metals. It was conformed that could used as an indicator identify industrial metals, but not suitable indicate traffic or sources. Linear regression equations between low-frequency integrated index well annual effective dose rate potential for using semi-quantitative assessment metal radiological hazard A three-step procedure is proposed use monitoring, provides fast method estimating extent tracing major rivers.
