摘要: Abstract This paper presents a method for automatically producing optimal strut-and-tie models the design of reinforced concrete beams. The model is generated by means an optimization problem solved using genetic algorithms. basic idea developed here that from initial random generation possible configurations beam subjected to study, new populations may be in iterative way operators until reaching optimum solution studied which corresponds configuration minimizes total strain energy. In configuration, compressive struts are not enforced parallel, allows representing more consistently physical reality flow forces. Furthermore, simple and easier apply than methods based on concepts evolutionary structural optimization.
