摘要: Abstract This paper deals with the problem of performance benchmarking traditional beet sugar plants, by considering Best Available Techniques (BAT) for production, as determined Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC) Directive. A Fuzzy Logic Model, based on fuzzy set theory, was constructed this purpose, in order to compare performances plants within sector's best standards, expressed Reference Document BAT. The effectiveness model tested case study, which three were benchmarked against BAT regarding consumption energy, water, raw materials production wastes, wastewater, by-products main product. recognized helpful needs plants. In addition, integrating analysis into model, it provides IPPC permitting authorities an objective method uniform benchmarks manage process.
