摘要: Abstract Steel strapping tensioning technique (SSTT) has started to gain attention recently. The confining method using post-tensioned recycled steel straps allows high-strength concrete (HSC) columns achieve higher ultimate strength and ductility. However, the experimental data design for SSTT-confined subjected eccentric compression is still lacking its behavior needed be clarified before it can used confidently in industry. In this paper, theoretical analysis was carried out considering various parameters such as eccentricity ratio, volumetric ratio end of columns. Experimental tests were validate developed model. Finally, equivalent stress block circular members are theoretically studied modified values purposely suggested calculation capacity interaction diagram. Comparisons between proposed equations with results showed accuracy high 95%.
