Growth of micropropagated apple plants in greenhouse with gibberellic acid applications Abstract†n†Aiming to optimize plant growth the rootstock cultivar Marubakaido (Malus prunifolia) greenhouse, one-year old coming from in†vitro cultivation were sprayed once, twice and three times 7-day interval (GA3). The concentrations 0, 50, 100, 200, 400, 800 1,600†mg†L -1 used. Plant was evaluated every two weeks during months. Internode length, number buds dry mass aerial part also at end experiment. Three sprays GA3 800†mg L best treatment providing largest rate against non-treated plants) relation their initial height, be- sides larger internode length higher matter parts. Plants once did not present significant response for none studied variables. These results suggest that use GA3, micropropagation, improves growth, although least applications, associated high concentrations, is necessary improve efficiency this regulator.
