摘要: Abstract Objectives: The article constructed an integrated conceptual framework for understanding child physical abuse based on a content analysis of different theories. Three major determinants were identified: exposure to aggression, stressors, and access resources. To test the framework, we included variables from all three categories in analyses. Methodology: Data case-comparison study that 81 physically abusive 148 nonabusive mothers was used. Logistic regression determined relative importance predictors. Results: probability varied expected direction with number emotional resources received (listening, help decision-making, companionship), stressors experienced, by their own mothers, current partners, former partners. estimation results showed aggression one's childhood (abused mother) domestic violence adult life previous partners) most potent factors predicting whether mother abused her child. Conclusion: suggest further research interdependencies between abuse.
