摘要: The rates of cesarean section have significantly increased worldwide over the past three decades. choice anesthetic depends on a number factors: maternal, fetal, surgical, and anesthetic. Neuraxial techniques are preferred method anesthesia reducing morbidity mortality for parturients allowing maternal bonding with neonate postoperatively. Spinal is technically simple to perform producing rapid onset dense block predictable offset. In this chapter, we will review advantages disadvantages spinal anesthesia, evidence behind technique itself commonly used medications.
