摘要: The leafhoppers Orosius argentatus (Evans), Austroagallia torrida (Evans) and Batracomorphus angustatus (Osborn) were used in transmission tests to determine their vector status for the phytoplasma associated with Australian lucerne yellows (ALuY). Caged, seed-grown plants monitored foliar symptom expression after feeding by transferred from ALuY symptomatic plants. Twelve of 25 developed disease-like symptoms including stunting yellowing. most pronounced displayed five that had been fed on O. argentatus four A. torrida. One plant, O. argentatus, showed distinctive root ALuY.
