摘要: Universities provide preservice teachers (mentees) with directions on how to engage within their school placements, yet mentees have ongoing concerns about interact mentors. What are desirable attributes and practices for in roles as mentees? This qualitative study gathers data from primary secondary Australian (n=25) through extended response questionnaire audio-recorded focus group discussions, (n=10) using interviews at the conclusion of four-week practicum. Findings indicated that mentors had clear views (e.g., enthusiasm, commitment, resilience) planning, preparation, building a teaching repertoire) mentees; whereas varying identifying such did not refer to: content knowledge, differentiation, knowing university policies. showed need more guidance focusing specific benefit mentoring relationship development.
