摘要: Abstract Hydroboration of 4 furnishes a mixture primary alcohols 5 and 6. The stereochemistry the crystalline half ester 7 has been established by X-ray studies. While oxidation with Jones reagent aldehyde 9 in low yield due to formation product 3, Moffatt satisfactory yields. cis-Calamenene 1 prepared from 9.
