摘要: Indoor horticulture is gaining importance as a cost-effective method to meet the demands of growing population. Modern day farmers are showing more interest in hydroponic farming reduce consumption water and always exploring ways maximize crop yield. dependent on artificial lighting for illumination sustain plant growth development. LED most suited due its tunable spectral characteristics, miniature size energy efficiency. Energy efficiency refers ability light source convert electrical into radiation that promotes photosynthesis. In this work, role photosynthetic luminous efficacy photosynthesis action factor discussed with respect horticulture. Using mathematically analysis effectiveness produced by white LEDs, sunlight, purple LEDs blue-red inducing discussed. Study showed performance highest when combination blue red lights illuminate plants. The effect daylight only fraction compared combination. Overall, better it preferred provided using mix lights.
