260 nm pseudomorphic ultraviolet light emitting diodes with enhanced photon extraction efficiency

摘要: We designed and fabricated 260 nm ultraviolet LEDs which demonstrated 20mW with greater than 1.5% WPE. Through surface roughening, substrate thinning encapsulation, a 6× improvement in photon extraction efficiency has been achieved.
