摘要: In the present work, laser transmission welding process is investigated and optimised using firefly algorithm, a population-based metaheuristic bio-inspired algorithm. Laser power, speed, stand-off distance clamp pressure are parameters which control output qualities like lap-shear strength weld-seam width of welded part. To select optimal setting parameters, single-objective multi-objective optimisations performed in objective functions developed response surface method. Results obtained by algorithm found to be superior those conventional optimisation technique. Firefly also particle swarm differential evolutionary shuffled frog leaping terms convergence rate. It that an excellent tool with respect fast locating global optima. very efficient predicting trends multi-dependent responses.
