Tunable blue-green-emitting Ca3Si2O4N2:Ce3+, Eu2+ phosphor with energy transfer for light-emitting diodes

摘要: A series of Ce3+, Eu2+ codoped Ca3Si2O4N2 phosphors have been synthesized by traditional solid state reactions, and the crystal structures luminescence properties were investigated in detail. Rietveld structure refinement indicates that crystallizes a cubic unit cell with space group Pa(205) lattice constant = 15.0712 A. Tunable blue-green emitting Ca3Si2O4N2:Ce3+, obtained codoping Ce3+ into host varying their relative ratios. Compared ion singly doped phosphor, wider absorption ultraviolet (UV) range stronger emission Eu2+, which are attributed to effective energy transfer from Eu2+. The is demonstrated be dipole–dipole mechanism. might candidates for components UV white light-emitting diodes (WLEDs).
