摘要: A series of novel unsymmetrical bithiophene substituted oxadiazole derivatives 2(a–e) were designed and synthesised by employing palladium catalysed Suzuki cross coupling reaction. These bipolar molecules consist as an electron donor unit (D) transporting acceptor (A). The structural integrity all the new compounds was confirmed 1H NMR, 13C NMR GC-MS analysis. photophysical electrochemical properties have been studied in detail using UV-Vis absorption, fluorescence spectroscopy CV measurements. All emit intense green with good quantum yields. Density functional theory computations carried out to understand structure–property relationship, computed values are found be agreement experimental results. results demonstrated that containing could play important role organic optoelectronics.
