摘要: The present fMRI study explores the cerebral reorganisation of language in patients with temporal lobe epilepsy, according to age seizures onset (early or late) and hippocampal sclerosis (associated not). Seven right-handed control volunteers seven preoperative adult epileptic performed a rhyme decision (language condition) visual detection (control tasks visually presented words unreadable characters, respectively. All were left hemisphere dominant for language. Appropriate statistical analyses provided following preliminary results: (1) compared healthy subjects showed lower degree hemispheric lateralization supplementary involvement right hemisphere; (2) specialization depends on considered region; (3) early show signs parietal reorganization more frequently than late seizures; (4) tendency intra-hemispheric frontal reorganisation; (5) associated facilitates inter-hemispheric shift activation. Although our predominant language, indicated that was significantly subjects. This result has been as indication atypical
