摘要: Ochratoxin A (OTA) has been detected in high amounts human blood samples collected nephrology departments Tunisia from nephropathy patients under dialysis, especially those categorised as having a chronic interstitial of unknown aetiology. These represent 12–26.1% all renal failure patients. To clarify the situation, food and were controls, (with no familial case nephropathy). The OTA assay showed very different scales contamination 0.1 to 16.6 μg/kg 0.1–2.3 ng/ml, respectively, controls healthy individuals 0.3–46 830 for 0.7–1136 ng/ml disease seems related levels contaminations, since control group was significantly (p<0.005) both ochratoxin contamination. Combined with data published already, results emphasize likely endemic aspect this OTA-related occurring possibly other countries northern Africa. This is similar Balkan nephropathy.
