摘要: Purpose To illustrate the difference between tangential and sagittal videokeratographs in "early" (subclinical) detection of keratoconus. Methods The clinically normal fellow eye a patient with unilateral keratoconus was studied topographer, which can display both map on same page using color scale. Results depicted pattern more consistent provided maximum power 51 diopters compared 46 map. Conclusions Tangential videokeratographs, derived from instantaneous radius curvature algorithms, may be useful than displays for detecting subtle corneal topographic abnormalities.
