摘要: Abstract 269 patients with ulcerative colitis and a history of less than 6 months when first seen at St. Mark's Hospital in the decade 1966-75 have been followed for up to 11 years. The outcome has correlated maximum extent disease observed within 3 presentation. 75 required hospital admission, 56 year Extensive developed 60 patients. cumulative probability being extensive was 21% ±3% 5 years 29% ±4% 10 25 surgical treatment. operation 8% ±2% 15% 19 are known died. expected number deaths 19·2.
