摘要: About six years ago, Greg Partyka and his colleagues at Amoco Research showed how an old technique (the Fourier transform) could be used effectively for seismic interpretation visualization. This idea has come to known as spectral decomposition. In recent years, many decomposition techniques have been developed utilized stratigraphic analysis direct hydrocarbon detection. With the refined now available, low-frequency shadow beneath gas reservoirs is another that renewed importance interest in exploration community. Almost a decade Dan Ebrom studied variety of possible mechanisms why it might associated with hydrocarbons. He presented 1996 SEG Summer Workshop.
