摘要: Flood damage modelling is becoming an essential component in flood risk management. However assessments are affected by large uncertainty, mainly related to the use of depth–damage functions. In some countries, where no site-specific curves available, a transfer models developed from other areas required, adding extra uncertainty process. This paper discusses transferability space literature, with focus on ‘function uncertainty’, pointing out, especially for mesoscale ones, lack detailed information terms and/or building characteristics that can allow identify conditions applicability models. New functions then residential sector, at meso- and microscale, based data 2010 Veneto, Italy. The application new reveals better performance model compared more microscale one, probably due small extent inundated area.
