摘要: This paper presents survey results on tourism operator preferences and motivations for carbon offset options by environmentally certified enterprises in Queensland, Australia. It found that less than a third are involved programmes, whereas just over plan to implement offsetting the near future. Preferred projects regional tree planting or renewable energy. Motivations related environmental concern, commercial benefits of climate-friendly tourism, financially supporting projects. study larger aligning with more general business drivers adopting corporate social responsibility practices. However, extra cost uncertainty about issues limited uptake smaller operators.
