摘要: Summary Background Obesity is more common in adults with psoriasis than the general population, but there a lack of data available regarding this association children. Objectives To evaluate whether obesity was French children any clinical type or severity. Methods A multicentre case–control study performed 23 dermatology centres. Children without chronic genetic inflammatory disease were selected as controls and matched for age, sex centre. We used three weight cut-off categories to compare two groups: overweight, overweight abdominal according Health Authority guidelines. Results A total 261 included. The mean age 9.8 years, 126 boys 135 girls. Overall, 42.5% these had plaque 32.2% severe psoriasis. There no difference between control groups when frequency who compared (20·7% group vs. 17·1% group; P = 0·18). Overweight including (18·4% 10·4%; P = 0·009) alone (10·0% 3·1%; P = 0·001) group. Conclusions This shows that being obese controls. risk factors are same those affect i.e. female having parent overweight. severity do not obesity.
