摘要: The objective of this study is to report a case ischemic subglottic damage after short-time intubation with large, overinflated endotracheal tube cuff in child. uses individual report. A 6-year-old boy was admitted the pediatric intensive care unit head trauma intubated 5.5-mm inner diameter cuffed 16 ml air that produced pressure more than 120 cm H2O. by inflation reduced 4 h. child presented postextubation stridor edema. Inappropriate handling tracheal without accurate measurement size and intracuff pressures tubes, can cause airway place patients at risk.
