摘要: Aplysia gonad lectin, which binds polygalacturonic acid, was complexed to colloidal gold and used for localizing molecules that contain acid in rubber tree roots infected with the white-rot root fungus Rigidoporus lignosus. Colonization of tissues associated strong wall alteration phloem cells degradation compound middle lamella both (10 weeks after inoculation) xylem (15 inoculation). Our data suggest pectin breakdown during decay likely occurs cellulose lignin may result from fungal pectinase activities were detected vitro. Released oligomers act as inducers laccase defense system invasion. Key words: rotting fungi, rubber, pectin, cellulose, cytochemistry.
