摘要: Governments invest in "key enabling technologies," such as nanotechnology, to solve societal challenges and boost the economy. At same time, governmental agencies demand risk reduction prohibit any often unknown adverse effects, industrial parties smart approaches reduce uncertainties. Responsible research innovation (RRI) is therefore a central theme policy making. Risk analysis technology assessment, together referred "RATA," can provide basis assess human, environmental, risks of new technological developments during various stages development. This assessment help both authorities innovative industry move forward sustainable manner. Here we describe developed procedures products our experiences bring RATA practice within large Dutch nanotechnology consortium. an example how put responsible integrated part program, increase awareness RATA, developers perform use RATA.
