摘要: A total of 320 potable water samples were collected from various rural and urban sources located in the Lublin region eastern Poland. They comprised: 55 treated (chlorinated) tap dwellings distributed by municipal supply system (MWSS), 111 MWSS, 45 untreated well household wells 109 private systems (PWSS) distributing water. Water examined for presence species composition Legionella, Yersinia, Gram-negative bacteria belonging to family Enterobacteriaceae (GNB-E) not (GNB-NE), filtering through cellulose filters culture on respectively GVPC, CIN, EMB tryptic soya agar media. The occurrence Legionella taken outlets MWSS was high (77.5%), significantly greater compared frequencies noted (7.3%), (28.9%) PWSS (13.8%) (p<0.001). Strains L. pneumophila serogroups 2-14, serogroup 1 spp. (species other than pneumophila) formed 64.3%, 17.5%, 18.2% isolates 100%, 0, 0 those 69.2%, 7.7%, 23.1% wells, 66.7%, 33.3% PWSS. concentration strains positive exceeded threshold limit value 100 cfu/100 ml 86.1%, while this exceeded. No Yersinia isolated samples. Altogether 8 or genera 10 (GNB-NE) found In samples, an inverse relationship between GNB-E numbers Enterobacter Serratia more common without Legionella. By contrast, spp., Klebsiella Salmonella distinctly (p<0.01-p<0.001) containing Among GNB-NE, Pseudomonas aeruginosa occurred frequently (for separately p<0.05, p<0.001). Similarly, Flavobacterium breve Xanthomonas often with Aeromonas Vibrio conclusion, a health risk could be associated exposure because prevalence correlation potentially pathogenic strains, possibility synergistic eff ects. adverse ects also due significant that occured sources.
