摘要: A variety of masonry structures suffered damage during the recent Bhuj earthquake. Some traditional had no earthquake resistant features and considerable damage. This paper attempts to evaluate behaviour based on type used in places like Bhuj, Anjar, Bhachau, Morbi, Samakhyali several other places. Quite a few buildings lintel bands corner reinforcements. The cracking failure patterns such have also been examined. concludes with discussion relevance current codal provisions for resistance direction further research area.
