摘要: Mixtures of DGEBA with γ-valerolactone (γ-VL) or α-methyl-γ-butyrolactone (γ-MBL) 2:1 (mol/mol) were cationically copolymerized in the presence scandium, ytterbium, lanthanum triflates as initiators. The evolution different reactive groups was followed by means FTIR/ATR spectroscopy. From these experiments, we could detect coexistence two unexpected processes: a reversion intermediate spiroorthoester formed to initial products and depolymerization process, which only takes place samples γ-VL, when scandium triflate used initiator proportion ytterbium increased from 1 3 phr. When γ-MBL comonomer no occurs supports proposed mechanism. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Polym Sci Part A: Chem 45: 2129–2141,
