摘要: Yield was measured by hand milking following injection of posterior pituitary extract (PPE) to obtain milk ejection. Lambs put with ewes milked after 2 doses 5 i.u. PPE could little or no milk. depended on the interval between milkings, rate secretion being apparently faster in first hr. The effect less marked as lactation declined. Yields were independent time day and speed milking. When successive yields used rank order performance, rankings always significantly concordant. Earlier applications method had detectable later lactation. It is concluded that provides a simple means obtaining useful estimates production.
