摘要: Abstract Introduction The aim of this study was to evaluate the biofilm dissolution and cleaning ability different irrigant solutions on intraorally infected dentin. Methods One hundred twenty bovine dentin specimens were by using a removable orthodontic device. Thirty samples used for each solution: 2% chlorhexidine 1%, 2.5%, 5.25% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl). 5, 15, 30 minutes at 2 experimental volumes, 500 μL 1 mL. stained acridine orange dye before after experiments evaluated confocal microscope. percentage biofilm, isolated cells, noncolonized measured grid system. Differences in reduction or increase studied parameters assessed nonparametric methods (P Results higher values found 30-minute NaOCl group 5-minute 15-minute groups NaOCL. use solution did not improve comparison with Conclusions Two percent does dissolve biofilms. are necessary have independently concentration contact times.
